You hop on the broom. You go straight up! And you nearly fall off.\n"Be careful, dummy!" the witch says.\n"Don't you know how to ride a broom? If you want to go right, lean to the right. If you want to go left, lean to the left."\nYou keep trying. And you keep doing it wrong.\n\n"You dimwit! You stupid or something?" says the witch.\nFinally you catch on. Soon you are doing figure-eights and loop the loops. This is terrific! you think.\n"Dinnertime!" the witch finally yells.\n"Are you hungry?"\n\n[[yes, you are hungry]]\n[[no, you are not hungry]]
"That 'chinny chin chin' stuff is from the Little Red Riding Hood."\n"It is not!" the troll says as he yanks harder on your leg.\n"You're right! It isn't!" you say.\n"It isn't?" the troll asks.\n"No...I don't think so," you say.\n"Scratch your chin and see if it has hair on it," you say.\n\nThe troll lets go of your leg just long enough to scratch his chin. And that is all the time you need.\n\nQuickly, you pull your leg up onto the bridge and run as fast as you can. The last thing you hear is the troll yelling, "Hey! You tricked me!" THE END\n\n[[Start]]

"You can ride."\n\nSoon you are riding across valleys and over mountains. You come to a huge castle.\n"We used to live in the castle," the giant says sadly. "But one time when we were gone, we forgot to raise the drawbridge. The dragon just walked in and took over. Now he won't leave."\n\n"Can't you gang up on him and throw him out?" you ask.\n"We can't get inside the castle. The windows are too little. And we don't want to knock down the wall. It is our home."\n\nYou have two ideas.\n\n[[lure the dragon out]]\n[[enter the castle and trick the dragon]]
"why did the witch steal the worm?" you ask.\n"Loretta isn't any old worm" says an elf.\n"She's a silkworm. She spins all the threads for our clothes."\n"If we don't have Loretta, we won't have any clothes" says another elf.\nJust then a beautiful woman steps onto your path. She smiles. Then she speaks in a musical voice.\n\n"Come with me" she says. "I will help you find the worm."\nThe woman is very beautiful. She looks very kind.\n"Don't go with her" says an elf. "We have to find Loretta ourselves. Come on!".\n\n[[Go with the elf]]\n[[Go with the woman]]

I'm sure I'd be tasty."\n"I'll take a bite," the dragon says, licking his lips.\n "The other kids will wonder what happened to me," you say to the dragon.\n"Kids? Lots of them?"\n"Yes. My whole class is on a nature trip. They're just over the hill," ou add.\n"Isnt that interesting," the dragon says as he lowers the drawbridge and hurries over the hill in search of all the children. "The castle is ours!" cry the giants. "Three cheers for our hero!"\nThat hero is you, of course.\n\nTHE END\n\n[[Start]]
The serpent swims toward you. It's mouth is wide open.\nHere goes! you think. And you blow bubbles right in it's face.\nThe bubbles tickle the serpent's nose.\nIt opens its mouth even wider! THE END\n\n[[Start]]
"Well, now" you say. "Once upon a time..."\n"I'm already bored" the troll says.\n"I've heard that story before."\n"Well, if you don't want to hear a story, I'll go get my friend, the elf. He'll prove that I'm right."\n\n"Oh, no, you don't" says the troll. "I'm not that dumb."\n"All right" you say. "Then you get a friend."\n"Good idea" says the troll. "I'll go get my friend, Hubert. Stay right here."\n"Sure I'll stay" you answer.\nThe troll lets go of your leg and disappears under the bridge.\n"Hubert?" you hear. "Come here a second. I got a problem."\nYou sure do, you think as you run away.\nTHE END\n\n[[Start]]
\tYou follow the elves down a winding path. They stop next to a huge tree.\n\t"Thank goodness you finally came", says one of the elves.\n\t"We have been waiting for you," says another. "Now we can get our silkworm back from the witch."\n\tHe takes your right hand and pulls you down the path. "You're plenty big enough to tangle with a witch. "Want to play hop-scotch?"\n"Sure!" the serpent says.\nAfter that, you play jump rope. And then Simon Says. And Hide-And-Seek.\n\tAt the end of the day, the serpent hugs you.\n"Come back tomorrow," he says.\nYou tell the mermaid that if she will play with the serpent, he will stop destroying the castle. "He's only being mean to get attention" you explain.\n\tFrom that day forward, the serpent visits the castle every day to play games. and he never frightens the mermaids again.\nYou are made the king of the underwater kingdom and are a hero to the mermaids!\nTHE END!\n\n[[Start]]

"Why don't we just knock on her door and see if she will return Loretta to us?" you think. The elves all agree to try.\nYou knock on the door of her house.\n"Who could that be?" the witch cackles.\n"We are here because you took Loretta, our silkworm!" you say, "And we want her back!"\nThe witch cackles at you and then she raises her wand at you and with a loud poof and lots of smoke, she changed you and all the elves into silkworms and she captures all of you and puts you in the cage with Loretta.
