The Letter "W"

Here goes...

I freakin' hate the letter "W". It's a big hog in the alphabet. Say the alphabet with me...all the letters are 1 syllable except for...D-O-U-B-L-E-Y-O-U! Three! count them: 1, 2, 3 syllables! It's not even a double "U" anyway, it's more like a double "V", but that's another topic. I hate that it is sometimes called "Dubya". I hate that it is the letter to differentiate between the two Bush's. I hate that it is used for the web with it's doubleyou-doubleyou-doubleyou-dot crap. When I was in school, they even threw a "W" in as a freakin' vowel (Yeah I know!)...only SOMETIMES! WHEN!?? When is a "W" ever a vowel in the English language. Irish Gaelic maybe, but not English! "Y" is more of a vowel than "W"! Plus, the sound of the "W" sneaks into...guess what! Another letter: "Q" with it's KW sound. What a HOG of a letter!

I get the sense that the letter "W" is somehow significant and somehow tied in with our manipulation. You know, the language is a perfect way to control people's thoughts, because your thoughts are formed through the language that you think. So...What does the "W" mean? Hmmm...

O.K. I have to apologize to my sister Wendy for this, because her name starts with a "W". Also my friend Jen whose last name starts with a "W". Sorry! :-)
